About

I am a researcher in Rural Development at SLU with an interest in understanding issues related to development, land governance and interlinked dynamics of power, distribution and property making. I also teach and supervise students. I am part of the SweDev executive committee since I am engaged in overcoming science-policy gaps.

I teach regularly at several of SLU's courses, e.g. in natural resource management, politics and practice, international rural development

I regularly supervise bachelor students within our agronomy program.

I regularly supervise master students within our agronomy program and in rural development and natural resource management.

Other experience

Collaboration with civil society organisations
I have worked with the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, Friends of the Earth and The Nature Conservancy for several years on issues related to tropical rainforest, forest and land management, conservation and orangutan population dynamics.
Collaboration with government agencies
9 year(s) - I worked as an advisor to Sida for 9 years as part of the Sida Helpdesk for Environment and Climate Change based at SLU.
