Researchers Jesper Sundewall and Björn Ekman has published an op-ed in Svenska Dagbladet Debatt on 8 June 2023. In a new study, they show that aid for better sexual and reproductive health and rights contributes to positive development. This part of the aid should return to the levels that prevailed a couple of years ago, the authors write.
A study by the Expert Group on Aid Studies (EBA) titled The Role of Aid in the Provision of Sexual and Reproductive Health Services, also find that global aid has helped increase access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
