Date: May 20, 2026 - May 22, 2026
20–22 May 2026, the third edition of the Swedish Climate Symposium will take place in Lund. Bringing together researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders from across Sweden, the event will explore climate research under the theme “Climate Research: Science, Society, Actions”. Registration is open until 15 April.
This year’s symposium is structured around three interconnected themes:
Science: Identify knowledge gaps and further research needs to strengthen the scientific understanding of climate change.
Society: Fostering dialogue and collaboration between academia and societal actors to better address environmental and societal challenges.
Action: Exploring how to identify and respond to both direct and indirect climate-related challenges in Sweden through both adaptation and emissions reduction.
