STEPS Towards Sustainable Plastics Conference 2024

STEPS, the Sustainable Plastics and Transition Pathways research programme funded by MISTRA, is hosting a conference under the theme “Towards Sustainable Plastics” on 7-9 October at Lund University. The conference will “present insights from national and international speakers and organisations on the various aspects for a sustainable plastic system such as decoupling plastic production from fossil resources, polymer and plastic design, recycling methods, policies and governance for a circular plastics economy”.
The conference is aimed at “a broad audience including researchers from universities and organisations, students, industry scientists and managers, policy makers, and civil society”.

Date and venue
The conference will start on 7 October at 12:00 and finish on 9 October at 13.00.
The conference will take place at Stadshallen, Stortorget 9, Lund, Sweden. Please note that the conference is an in-person event, i.e. digital participation is not possible.
