Platform for dialogue between researchers and practitioners on development issues

SweDev is organising an online dialogue between researchers and representatives from the Swedish Government Offices.
One of the main objectives of SweDev is to facilitate an in-depth dialogue between research and policy for efficient policymaking and practice among Swedish actors working for the 2030 Agenda. We therefore propose the establishment of a new platform for dialogue between researchers and practitioners on development issues.
The dialogue consists of two sessions with themes that are relevant to development issues: Climate financing and Health & Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. In each session, researchers will briefly present current research on a specific policy problem. The presentation is followed by a comment from government officials on how they are currently working on the current thematic issue and the possible significance of research for better policymaking.
The conversation thereafter opens for participants. The seminar begins with a joint introduction and ends with a joint evaluative reflection.
Participation is by invitation only. Members who have indicated a research interest in Environment & Climate change and/or Health & SRHR have received a separate invitation. Please contact if you have any questions.
