About
Kelly Dorkenoo is a scholar-practitioner who holds a PhD from Lund University Centre for Sustainability Studies, Sweden. Her research centres on loss and damage with an emphasis on land and land-based resources in rural communities across Asia. She develops methodologies for and conducts assessments of economic and non-economic loss and damage. She also supports stakeholder engagement and capacity-building to access climate finance and technical assistance. Working at the science-policy interface, Kelly is passionate about advancing land rights and climate justice and believes that addressing loss and damage can catalyse transformative shifts in climate governance.
