ODI Global, in collaboration with the ERICC consortium, is hosting a hybrid event on financing basic services in protracted crisis settings, bringing together experts from education, health, and social protection. In addition to online participation, the event will take place at ODI Global’s office in London.

As conflicts, climate shocks, and economic pressures become more prolonged, financing approaches for basic services must adapt. However, knowledge and evidence remain fragmented across sectors. This forum aims to connect lessons from research and practice, highlighting effective financing approaches and exploring how external aid can better support domestic systems over time.

Organised by ODI Global finance experts, the event will feature researchers, donors, policymakers, and implementers, including speakers from fragility-focused research consortia such as BASIC, ReBUILD, and the STAAR Facility. Discussions will focus on how financing landscapes evolve across crisis phases, case studies of effective aid, and implications for future policy and programming. Further details on the agenda and speakers will be shared in January.

Participants will receive confirmation of attendance following registration.
